“This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me.”
All the sacraments are sacred links uniting the faithful with one another and binding them to Jesus. The name “communion” can be applied to all of them, for they unite us to God. This name is best suited to the Eucharist than to any other, because it is primarily the Eucharist that brings this communion about.
In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Christians receive and eat the real body and blood of Christ Jesus, and they enter into unity with Christ and the Church.
Please download the First Communion Day Directives 2023 for information on how the sacrament will be administered.
First Communion Picture Order Form (from The Glenmar Studio)
Congratulations on the forthcoming First Holy Communion of your child! The Glenmar Studio is honored to have been chosen by the Church of St. Mary as the photographers and videographers for such a joyous event. Children and parents are photographed as the child receives Communion. The Studio will also videotape the entire service. With that, you may order a video of your child's First Holy Communion ceremony as well.
Please use the form provided to place your order and submit it by Thursday, March 30, 2023. Click here to download the Order Form.
We look forward to celebrating this sacrament with St. Mary’s First Communicants of 2023.
